Amy Ellingson, MD
Amy Ellingson, MD has been practicing Family Medicine in Washington state for 20+ years. For the past 10 years she has been working with women in perimenopause and postmenopause using bioidentical hormone therapy. Dr Ellingson is passionate about helping women get educated, make a plan and advocate for themselves! She believes that women can feel amazing at all stages of life. She believes that most of what she can do in her time with patients is to listen to them, understand their unique story and work together to decide on the next steps in creating health and vitality.
Dr Ellingson is Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She is also a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She graduated summa cum laude from University of Notre Dame and then went on to Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. Dr Ellingson then went on to complete her Family Medicine Residency training, with a focus on rural medicine, in BIllings, MT. Since becoming a physician in 1999, she has been dedicated to taking care of patients in rural, North Central WA. For many years, this included working in the ER, delivering babies, performing cesarean sections and taking care of people admitted to the hospital. She has in-depth expertise and experience in medically complicated patients and providing the holistic care that is needed in rural areas.
​Dr Ellingson speaks Spanish and has worked with a large Spanish-speaking patient population for her entire career. She believes in the right to quality health-care and that we all deserve to be heard and to have a voice in our healthcare journey.
